Mandate: UNOPS is the project management arm of the United Nations System that manages or supports the projects of other UN organizations, in all sectors in which the UN operates.
Structure: UNOPS is a highly decentralized organization and procurement is done through a variety of divisions and locations. Procurement is undertaken by the UNOPS Special Offices in Copenhagen and Geneva, Project Managers in New York, and Field Offices around the world
