Ministerial visit to China

Minister Emerson will be travelling to China from May 20-23, where he will advance Canada-China commercial relations.

Canada-EFTA free trade legislation tabled in Parliament

Minister Emerson tabled legislation to implement Canada's free trade agreement with the states of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA): Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. The tabling brings the agreement one step closer to coming into force.
